It may have come as a shock to some of you when I mentioned that I love small tattoos especially the ones on the hands because I am a Jehovah witness. Being a Christian doesn't exempt you from wanting to do certain things because you still have your own desires but is it good to act on all of your desires? NO especially the ones that are questionable and bad for your walk with God. Having or getting a tattoo is not a forbidden thing but it is also not common for a Jehovah witness to walk into a tattoo place and to casually get one. I wouldn't do that and it's not because I hate them but because I love Jehovah more. Having a tattoo might be just a phase but it is a permanent decision that you cannot go back on. Being a Christian is about having self control and good discernment. There are a lot of cons with getting a tattoo : I could get an infection, I could get a bloodborne disease if the instruments were not sanitize properly, I could regret it, I could make others questioned my faith ( not always something I think about but I would hate to make a brother or a sister fell off their walk with God because I wanted to do something for my own selfish reason) I want to stay closer to God. The closer I am to Jehovah the less I want to do bad things.
